spray.xact 5000 spray lubrication system with a wide spraying width for large presses | Strong focus on the treatment of car body parts and structural elements | Demonstration of the airless spray lubrication system at the trade fair stand
technotrans SE will present its spray lubrication systems for car body manufacturing applications at this year's Automotive Engineering Expo (AEE) on 4-5 June (hall 12, stand 117). The presentation will focus on the spray.xact 5000 system for the lubrication of car body panels and structural elements with a spraying width up to 4,600 mm. The system is one of just a few systems of this size worldwide that operate completely without compressed air. In addition, the company will showcase the advantages of airless spray lubrication on its trade fair stand with the aid of a demonstration spraying bench.
"With the spray.xact 5000, we continue to introduce our proven and reliable spray lubrication technology on the demanding automotive market, thereby offering car body manufacturers a powerful and economical solution," says Alois Scharf, Head of the Ink & Fluid Technology Business Unit at technotrans. The system for large presses with spraying widths up to 4,600 mm is equipped with an airless spraying system that does not require an extraction system. Bespoke components, which have been specifically developed for the system, prevent the formation of drops and oil mist.
At the heart of the spray.xact 5000 are electronically controlled valves that have been developed in-house and that emit spray pulses at a very high frequency. This results in a particularly homogeneous spray pattern on the metal sheets. To ensure that a constant viscosity of the fluid is maintained, the temperature of the oil is controlled directly at the nozzle. This results in a continuously reproducible oil application regardless of any possible pressure fluctuations or other influencing factors within the system. In addition, the technotrans system enables the input of spray patterns by importing the CAD data of the blank contours.
Easy maintenance
technotrans has developed a new sealing system specifically for the spraying chamber of the spray.xact 5000: A rotating brush system prevents drag oil from leaking out and from dripping onto the blanks. In addition, the energy-saving system stands out due to its particularly easy maintenance: The modular design and service-friendly supply system ensure the quick changing of the tanks and easy access for the replacement of parts.
"Driven by the positive feedback from our customers, we would like to expand our market share in the automotive segment and to demonstrate our expertise in the field of metal-working applications," says Scharf. You can find technotrans SE in hall 12 at stand 12-117 at the AEE 2019 exhibition.
