- Fakuma trade fair premiere under the technotrans umbrella brand
- Highly efficient cooling and temperature control systems from -80°C to +400°C
- Focus on sustainable technologies and remote service solutions
New name, proven technology, familiar contacts: This is the motto of the joint appearance of gwk Gesellschaft Wärme Kältetechnik mbH and Reisner Cooling Solutions GmbH at this year's Fakuma trade fair under the new name technotrans solutions GmbH during which the two companies will provide visitors with insights into their ongoing integration. The companies will present existing and new solutions from a portfolio of highly efficient cooling and temperature control systems for a temperature range from -80°C to +400°C. The focus will be placed on sustainable technologies and remote service solutions as the basis for CO2-neutral production in the plastics and rubber industries. In addition, the companies will ensure a high level of safety for the visitors at their Fakuma 2021 stand by employing air purifiers.
"Our Fakuma trade fair appearance this year is truly special, and not only because we will finally be able to meet our customers, partners and other interested parties in person after such a long time. After more than 50 years, we will present ourselves at the Fakuma trade fair under a new name and with a completely new look," says Nicolai Küls, managing director of the sales and marketing divisions of gwk as well as of the future technotrans solutions GmbH. The merger of the two technotrans companies gwk and Reisner is well under way: While gwk will change its name to technotrans solutions GmbH on 1 October 2021, Reisner will join the new company at the beginning of 2022. The consolidation of the skills and knowledge of the two companies will result in a highly efficient competence centre for the plastics, rubber and metal processing industries in line with the group's "Future Ready 2025" strategy. "Thanks to nearly 100 years of combined experience in the field of thermal management solutions, we will form an effective organisational unit with sufficient potential for dynamic growth. The two company sites Meinerzhagen and Holzwickede as well as the known account managers will remain fully operational after the merger, and new contacts familiar with the market will be added," says Küls.
Highly efficient cooling and temperature control systems
Visitors to the stand can expect particularly energy-efficient and sustainable system solutions as well as systems for a wide temperature range from -80°C to +400°C. One outstanding feature is that the equipment uses climate-friendly refrigerants with a low global warming potential (GWP) and highly efficient components and control methods. The unit variants showcased at the trade fair are truly unique in terms of their features and energy efficiency. Ralf Radke, head of business development at gwk explains: "Due to the high CO2 saving potential, the government provides funding for investments into these sustainable technologies."
The products that will be presented at the Fakuma trade fair include the compact temperature control units of the high.line and eco.line series. The systems stand out due to their high level of user friendliness and efficiency. Visitors will also be able to get an impression of the adaptive 7" Logotherm operating concept with multi-touch functions and of the unique efficiency of the pump efficiency module (PEM) with a highly efficient centrifugal pump, variable frequency drive and innovative, intelligent control system.
In the field of water distributors, technotrans will present the itd evo unit, which is an enhanced version of the proven gwk itd series. This adaptive, "(evo)lutionary" unit is characterised by several options in terms of the flow measurement method and control type. Among them are low-maintenance vortex flowmeters, non-contacting and maintenance-free ultrasonic flow sensors as well as a static, uncontrolled or temperature-based flow control system. Another interesting feature of the itd evo system is the control integration into the technotrans temperature control units and the resulting elimination of a separate operating panel, which is customary with comparable units on the market. The temperature control units as well as the itd evo distributors can be connected to the smart technotrans tempanalyser app by way of the OPC UA interface.
In addition, the visitors will also be able to see other products from the cooling system segment. technotrans will show customised refrigeration units, innovative water filtration and preparation systems as well as a remote service solution. The integrated water filter, for example, is highly efficient without causing any pressure loss.
High level of safety at the stand thanks to air purifiers
In light of the rising COVID-19 infection rates, technotrans places particular importance on the safety of the visitors to the stand. The two-storey stand concept provides sufficient space for a relaxed exchange of information in compliance with the guidelines. The lower level will be equipped with several tt.air air purifiers to ensure a safe experience for all visitors as well as the stand team. The team on site as well as several colleagues who will join the trade fair remotely look forward to many interesting discussions and talks.
In September, gwk and Reisner jointly took part in the KUTENO trade fair. At this year's Fakuma trade fair, the two companies will present themselves under the name of technotrans solutions GmbH from 12 October to 16 October at stand 1205 in hall B1.
