Successful trade fair participation by technotrans AG: The system partner with 35 years of experience in mechanical engineering placed its cooling systems in the focus of interest at the AMB trade fair. The response from the stand visitors exceeded all expectations. Of particular interest were the small and large versions of the active and passive cooling systems. Modular combination units replace several peripheral units for the cooling, conditioning, and filtration of cooling lubricants. This makes technotrans a "full liner" in the tool manufacturing industry.

Mr Christian Walczyk, head of industrial system solutions at technotrans, is very satisfied with the talks held during the trade fair: "As a manufacturer of various different components, we are not always in the limelight. However, our conversations with the trade fair visitors are proof of the significance of our solutions for the users". The market recognises technotrans AG as a manufacturer with a high level of expertise in providing solutions. The cooling systems are specifically adapted to the customer requirements, and the entire process is supervised by technotrans from the initial idea up to its implementation in close co-operation with the machine manufacturer.

 "For us, a high level of efficiency and a compact design are a matter of course", says Mr Walczyk. technotrans offers a wide range of cooling systems from 0.1 kW up to 600 kW. According to Mr Walczyk, the versatility of the systems is a key factor for success. Apart from the small footprint, the supply of different areas, e.g. in a machining centre, by only one single refrigeration unit offers a considerable cost-saving potential and numerous advantages in terms of the investment costs and energy-efficient production.

 The modular toolsmart product range is a combination of multi-level filtration and cooling technology. The design also enables the units to be retrofitted to already existing systems. From the basic system up to the flexible toolsmart.xt for tank volumes up to 4,000 litres and a filtration rate up to 750 l/min, the units are also suitable for sophisticated materials.

 The international AMB trade fair visitors were able to get a first-hand impression of the manufacturing expertise of technotrans during the trade fair. Today, the company has a global service and sales network with 22 locations. It employs more than 770 people at a total of five production sites in Europe, Asia, and the USA. Following the extension of the manufacturing capacities in China, technotrans also presents itself as a strong partner on the important Asian market.
