technotrans SE inspires job applicants: The company from Sassenberg has been honoured with an award by Jobware for a particularly creative job advertisement. The users of the online portal voted the technotrans request as the best job advertisement of July 2019. On 4 September, the award was handed over to the Human Resources (HR) team.

In times of serious skills shortage, companies must use a different, innovative approach for inspiring new recruits. To attract the attention of talents of all age groups and professional fields, technotrans SE focuses on creating job advertisements that are published via online portals with a particularly wide coverage and reach. "When we relaunched our website, not only did we redesign our career page, but we also revised the style of our job advertisements," explains Justine Weskamp, human resources officer at technotrans. The success was instantaneous: The HR team often receives praise from potential job candidates. In addition, the number of unsolicited applications is also continuously on the rise.

Creativity is being rewarded
The strategy of the Human Resources team has now been confirmed by winning an official online voting organised by Jobware, one of the biggest and most popular recruitment portals on the German market. The users of the portal voted the technotrans request "Techniker im Serviceaußendienst (m/w/d)" as the best job advertisement of July 2019. Six advertisements of different companies were nominated and technotrans came out first by a wide margin. On 4 September, Axel Bergmann, Jobware account manager, met the technotrans recruiting team to hand over the award. "We are very happy that the campaign has been such a success and we thank Jobware and everyone who voted for us," says Weskamp.

In addition to the Jobware award, technotrans has also been presented with the Kununu "Top Company" quality seal for its excellent reviews and has been named as one of the best SME employers in 2019 by Yourfirm.

Insight into the company
When developing its campaigns, technotrans focuses on an authentic feel and an impression of lightness as the core factors for success. Every job profile is presented in a playful manner, e.g. by way of the image of a water pistol when talking about high-precision spraying applications. In addition, every advertisement presents a real technotrans employee by way of his or her name, job title and a single sentence as a short, concise presentation of the job. The aim is to enable the applicants to identify with the employees. "With the images that we use, we want to convey the following essential message: People who work for technotrans are proud of their job and clearly willing to spread their enthusiasm," explains Weskamp. The intention is to carry this positive feeling over beyond the actual application process and to use it as a foundation for a successful start of the applicant in his or her new job.
