technotrans SE continues to participate in the growing electromobility market: Atthis year'sBattery Show exhibition on 7-9 May in Stuttgart, the company will present qualified product series and customised cooling and temperature control systems for lithium-ion batteries, charging cables and charging stations. Stationary systems, especially from the field of high-power charging, will be presented in addition to systems for road and rail vehicles.

"Electromobility will be a key element of a sustainable, urban infrastructure. Our cooling solutions contribute to a practice-oriented and cost-effective implementation," explains Christian Walczyk, head of sales of industrial solutions at technotrans. Numerous cities are investing in their fleet of electric buses so that their number increases accordingly in the public transport sector. The temperature of the lithium-ion batteries used in the vehicles is an essential factor for the correct operation and service life of the high-performance batteries. "Our cooling systems ensure an optimum operating temperature in the batteries of the vehicles, thereby guaranteeing a high level of long-term reliability," says Walczyk.

With their participation in this year's Battery Show, the company from Sassenberg showcases what it has to offer to the electromobility sector. Apart from proven solutions for the charging infrastructure, e.g. cooling solutions for HPC charging cables and cooling systems for charging stations for buses and cars, technotrans will also present battery cooling systems for road and rail vehicles.

In terms of mobile lithium-ion batteries – the batteries used in electric buses – technotrans provides high-performance series devices. In this context, operational safety and reliability as well as a lightweight design have top priority during the development process. "We offer our customers flexible systems for a wide range of applications," explains Walczyk.

Effective cooling concepts for high-power charging applications
Whether it is electric buses, utility vehicles or regular cars: They all need to be charged. This is why technotrans also offers customised solutions for stationary systems. The cooling systems ensure the excellent performance of fast-charging stations using high-power charging technology. As a result, technotrans fulfils the demands of electric car manufacturers of the premium segment. "Especially the most recent electric cars are compatible with the fast-charging function," says Walczyk. In addition, technotrans also offers actively as well as passively cooled charging cable cooling modules with a high level of compactness for easy integration into the charging stations. The product portfolio is further complemented by distributed cooling systems for charging parks where central refrigeration units cool groups of several charging stations.

For technotrans, the Battery Show is a strong indicator of the future development of electromobility cooling solutions as a growth sector.
