- Trade fair debut under technotrans umbrella brand at KUTENO
- Highly efficient cooling and temperature control systems from -80°C to +400°C
- Focus on the eco.line and high.line product lines
First joint appearance under the technotrans umbrella brand: This year's joint presentation of gwk Gesellschaft Wärme Kältetechnik mbH and Reisner Cooling Solutions GmbH at the KUTENO trade fair will be centred on the ongoing merger of the technotrans companies. Both companies will share a stand at the regional trade fair for the plastics industry in Rheda-Wiedenbrück on 7-9 September the team will present their highly efficient cooling and temperature control systems for a temperature range from -80°C to +400°C. The focus will be on the compact temperature control units of the high.line and eco.line series. These sustainable thermal management solutions form the basis for CO2-neutral production in the plastics, metal and rubber industries.
"Our trade fair appearance this year is truly special, and not only because we will finally be able to meet our customers, partners and other interested parties in person after such a long time. It is also special because, for the first time ever, we will present ourselves together with our colleagues at Reisner as a single strong unit under the technotrans umbrella brand," says Nicolai Küls, Managing Director at gwk. The merger of the two technotrans companies is well under way: gwk will change its name to technotrans solutions GmbH on 1 October 2021. Reisner will then join the new company at the beginning of 2022. The consolidation of the skills and knowledge of gwk and Reisner will result in a highly efficient competence centre for the plastics, rubber and metal processing industries.
Highly efficient cooling and temperature control systems
Visitors to the stand can expect particularly energy-efficient and sustainable system solutions as well as systems for a wide temperature range from -80°C to +400°C. One outstanding feature is that the equipment uses climate-friendly refrigerants with a low global warming potential (GWP) and highly efficient components and control methods. The unit variants showcased at the trade fair are truly unique in terms of their features and efficiency. "Due to the high CO2 saving potential, the government provides funding for investments into these sustainable technologies. We will be happy to inform the interested parties about the funding options for our temperature control solutions at our trade fair stand," says Küls.
The highlight of the presentation will be the compact products of the high.line and eco.line series. The systems are a combination of highly efficient temperature control units and water distributors with a reliable, low-maintenance (high.line) or even maintenance-free (eco.line) flow measurement system. The high.line series stands out due to its high level of user friendliness: At the trade fair, visitors can get an impression of the adaptive 7" Logotherm operating concept with multi-touch functions. The eco.line units are equipped with a contactless, maintenance-free ultrasound flow measuring system as well as with a pump efficiency module (PEM), including a highly efficient centrifugal pump, variable frequency drive and an innovative, intelligent control system.
Ralf Radke, Head of Business Development at gwk, emphasises: "The speed-control-based control concept is becoming increasingly widespread as a high level of energy efficiency plays an important role in all types of industries. gwk, or technotrans as it will be named in the future, has integrated this technology as a standard feature in the eco.line series. When this control mode is activated, energy cost savings of more than 90% are not uncommon at all." As a result of this reduced energy consumption combined with the available funding options, the units will pay for themselves very quickly.
gwk and Reisner, can be found under the umbrella brand technotrans at the KUTENO trade fair on 7-9 September inhall 5 at stand J13-A and J13-B.
