Sustainable and customised concepts in the focus of the trade exhibition/Products for digital, flexo and offset printing applications/New modular chiller with a high level of energy efficiency

technotrans will present its extensive portfolio of products for various printing methods at this year's drupa trade exhibition on 16-26 June in Düsseldorf. The focus is on customised cooling systems offering a perfect symbiosis of sustainability and economic efficiency. Among these systems is the new modular chiller for digital, flexo and offset printing applications as well as the beta.c blue combination unit. Other topics are the extended service offer and air-conditioning solutions. Furthermore the company will be celebrating its 50th anniversary with two parties at the trade show.

A strong solution-oriented approach is always key for technotrans: The company from Sassenberg is highly flexible in terms of the applied technologies and offers systems for a wide range of applications, printing methods, such as digital, flexo and offset printing, and performance ranges. Depending on the requirements of the customers, the systems are available as individual stand-alone units or as combination units. 

With this year's presence at the trade exhibition, technotrans proves that it is well aware of the current challenges faced by the printing industry. The cooling systems showcased at the exhibition are particularly efficient and sustainable, combining environmental protection and economic efficiency. Thanks to speed-controlled components, the output of the units adapts perfectly to the specific needs of the user. This concept saves resources, costs and refrigerant.

Chillers for digital, flexo and offset printing applications
The new modular chiller is a perfect example of high level of energy efficiency: The cooling system that is offered and used throughout the group of companies is characterised by low power consumption combined with high power density, thereby enabling its users to reduce their carbon footprint. Two versions of the system are available: "pure" is the cost-optimised and compact standard version whilst "xtend" can be customised by adding numerous extras.

Innovative beta.c blue system with new process technology
A conceptual design study in 2016, in serial production in 2020: The dampening solution circulation and ink unit temperature control system beta.c blue with its compact cabinet design is also characterised by its high level of sustainability and economic efficiency. Due to the new cooling concept the units are much more energy efficient and also use an alternative environmentally-friendly refrigerant. This is supplemented by highly precise measuring and dosing technology. The system has been designed for medium-to large-format sheet-fed offset printing applications and can be fitted with an additional circuit for dryer cooling. Naturally this next generation fulfils the newest standards and market requirements with regard to the current criteria of the European Ecodesign Directive and other European Regulations.

Air conditioning
In addition to fluid cooling and temperature control systems, technotrans also offers complete air-conditioning solutions. These units are used, for example, in complex high-performance digital presses to which they are precisely adapted. They ensure the correct air temperature, including humidity and quantity.

Extended service offer
technotrans offers competent and flexible full-service, to ensure maximum reliability of the solutions. This includes planning, installation, repair and maintenance of the units, as well as a spare parts service and 24/7 support. In order to be able to provide these services even faster and with a higher level of precision, technotrans will present a dynamic QR code which registers the parameters of your system and transfers them directly to the service department. This enables a precise status analysis, predictive maintenance and a fast response in the event of faults.

In 2020 technotrans will be celebrating its fiftieth anniversary by hosting two parties at its booth, on the 19th and 23rd of June. Visitors can find technotrans at stand B08 in the new section of hall 1.
