Sassenberg, 3 June 2015 – Two companies of the technotrans group are presenting their innovations at the LASER World of Photonics trade fair in Munich. Termotek GmbH presents its 19" rack-mount cooler with a new housing and a improved central control system. KLH Kältetechnik focuses on universal cooling systems up to 300 kW and on plant engineering and industrial cooling systems with up to 1 MW of cooling power. These and other products will be presented in Hall A3 at Stand 427 from 22-25 June.

Termotek GmbH has been a well-established participant of the LASER World of PHOTONICS trade fair for years. The company from Baden-Baden in Germany offers cooling solutions for laser applications in the lower and medium power range from 50 W to 16 kW. A special highlight at the stand is a new 24 V miniature compressor with an extremely low vibration level. "Especially when it comes to sophisticated applications, we see a high growth potential for the new compressor," explains Peter Hirsch, managing director of Termotek GmbH. This compressor is on the way to becoming an alternative to the more classic Peltier elements. "High power density with the same level of quietness is a convincing feature for all branches of industry," says Peter Hirsch. The areas of application range from the classic semiconductor industry up to medical equipment and plastics welding applications with lasers. 

Termotek presents two innovations concerning its 19" rack-mount cooler. The improved central control unit enables precise and user-friendly temperature control with an accuracy of ± 0.05 Kelvin. The new housing has a modular design and can be customised to meet the specific requirements of the customer even for a very small series of 20 units, for example. "We offer these customised solutions for all of our products", explains Peter Hirsch. As a result, the Termotek rack-mount cooler can be easily integrated into solutions with a small footprint.

KLH Kältetechnik GmbH is specialised in universal cooling systems from 3 kW to 300 kW and in energy-conscious plant engineering and industrial cooling systems up to 1 MW. The associated add-on systems are also customised to meet the specific customer requirements. Among the customers using passive coolers (water cooling) or active coolers are global machine tool manufacturers. KLH uses high-quality standard products for the housings and coolant circuits, whereas the cold-water circuit and the electrical systems are produced in line with the specifications of the customers and applications. This approach ensures suitability for all types of industry profiles. At the same time, reproducible series quality with universal flexibility can be guaranteed.
