Advanced omega.eco with speed-controlled components/Cooling lubricant filtration and cooling combined in a compact unit/Integrable cooling solution for machine tool manufacturers/Central cooling systems for industrial production
technotrans SE presents special energy-efficient cooling and filtration systems for machine tools at this year's EMO trade fair. Visitors can expect to see the new generation of the omega.eco process chiller with speed-controlled main components as well as a compact cooling lubricant filtration unit of the well-established toolsmart series. In addition, the presentation will focus on standardised cooling solutions as well as customised systems for integration in an overall system.
"With our products, we present ourselves as a system supplier for machine tool manufacturers. From cooling and filtration up to a combined cooling/filtration solution as a coupled system – we can realise the entire fluid system of a machine tool thanks to our extensive expertise," says Ingo Gdanitz, Business Development Manager at technotrans. Energy-efficient, high-power cooling systems with a small form factor will be the centre of the trade fair presentation under the motto "cooling for tooling".
The new generation of the flexible omega.eco process chiller is the centrepiece of the trade fair stand. This enhanced unit is equipped with a speed controller for the compressor, cooling air fan and cooling water pump. The state-of-the-art and highly precise control system allows the chiller to adapt to varying operating loads and ambient conditions. Depending on the cooling output required by the machining process, the compressor and fan are controlled fully automatically. This increases the system efficiency, thereby ensuring a high energy-saving potential. In addition, this technology also increases the precision and dynamics of the temperature control system which, in turn, results in highly reliable thermal management during operation.
Customisable cooling lubricant filtration
The liquid technology specialist from Sassenberg also presents a compact cooling lubricant filtration unit of the proven toolsmart series. It is characterised by its small footprint and, in particular, by several different filtration methods. Filtration with nonwoven materials – a universal, proven filtration method for many decades – is the basis for this system. Thanks to the modular concept of the toolsmart.line series, the cooling lubricant filtration system and the optional cooling system can be adapted to the process in question as required and easily integrated into the already existing overall systems.
Central cooling systems for industrial production will be another hot topic at this year's trade fair: Instead of individual cooling systems that are assigned to the various production machines, a central system can be installed on the unused rooftop of the building, for example. The advantages of this concept are an increased production area and a considerably lower energy consumption and CO2 output of the central systems. All of the systems offered by technotrans are also available and customised variants.
"Our extended product portfolio helps us to prepare for the machining processes of the future, but technotrans is already a system partner when it comes to the machining of modern materials, e.g. lightweight CFRP elements or composite materials," explains Gdanitz. With modern control systems and interfaces, technotrans designs industry-4.0-friendly systems and ensures that the process data of these systems can be read out and readjusted digitally.
