spray.xact 5000 for lubricating large parts / Easy coil infeed thanks to a divided spray housing / Minimum quantity lubrication mode for tool lubrication

technotrans AG will present its spray lubrication systems for metalworking applications on 23-26 October at this year's EuroBLECH in Hanover. The spray.xact 5000 system for the lubrication of blanks with a spraying width of up to 4,600 mm will be showcased for the very first time at the EuroBLECH trade fair. Another innovative product is the spray.xact c system with a divided spray housing enabling a particularly easy infeed of coils. In addition, technotrans will present a solution for the particularly precise lubrication of tools. The company from Sassenberg can be found in Hall 27 at stand J156 at the EuroBLECH.

"The spray.xact 5000 is an economically efficient solution for press shops. As the only system of this size, it works without compressed air. Thanks to its dimensions, it is particularly suitable for the lubrication of large structural elements and outer skin panels," explains Alois Scharf, Head of the Business Unit Ink & Fluid Technology of technotrans. The system for large presses with spraying widths up to 4,600 mm is equipped with an airless spraying system that does not require any extraction system.

The heart of the spray.xact 5000 system consists of proprietary valves. They are electronically controlled and emit spray pulses at a very high frequency, resulting in a particularly homogeneous spray pattern on the sheet metal surface. In addition, the temperature of the oil is controlled directly at the nozzle in order to maintain a constant temperature level of the fluid. This results in a continuously reproducible oil application regardless of any possible pressure fluctuations or other influencing factors within the system. An automatic nozzle check feature and the comfortable input of spray patterns based on the upload of CAD data of the blank contours complete the system. In addition, the spraying chamber of the spray.xact 5000 has an innovative sealing system: A rotating brush system prevents any drag oil from leaking out. The modular design and service-friendly supply system ensure the quick changing of the tanks and easy access for the replacement of parts.

Considerably simplified coil infeed
With the spray.xact c, technotrans presents a system for lubrication tasks at forming presses and fine-blanking systems. A new feature is the divided spray housing of the system, which simplifies the coil infeed process. Drives move the upper half of the housing upwards, thereby enlarging the intake gap so that the new coil can be fed in particularly easily when the coil needs to be changed. The chamber is then closed again before the production process begins.

In addition, technotrans expands its portfolio in the field of tool lubrication by a minimum quantity lubrication system. Based on a modified valve, the solution provides tool-makers with a precise method for the lubrication of cutting edges and points of particular stress within the tools. Instead of spraying oil from the outside into the tool when the press is open, the oil is supplied to the crucial points from the inside through special channels.

Apart from these systems, technotrans will also present other well-established lubrication systems for a wide range of different applications. This includes the spray.xact easy system for straightforward applications with up to four spraying nozzles and the spray.xact reflection system for the lubrication of narrow coils in automatic punch presses. With this system, the oil is distributed even more finely so that a mere wisp of oil is applied.
