New omega.eco with speed-controlled main components/Cooling and temperature control solutions for digital, Flexo and offset printing/Customised and energy-efficient system solutions

technotrans SE is presenting the new generation of its omega.eco process chiller at this year's Labelexpo Europe. Thanks to speed-controlled main components, the device is particularly energy-efficient and ideal for use during partial load operation. In addition, technotrans will be presenting a compact cooling system for laser cutters. The presentation at the trade fair will be dedicated to customised peripheral units for cooling, dosing and transporting viscous media in all fields of package and label printing.

“Today, the packaging and labelling industry is going through very fast cycles of innovation - particularly in digital printing. Individualisation by digitalisation is the cue," says Peter Böcker, Sales Manager at technotrans. “This is the reason for the increasing demand for customised and compact peripherals, which technotrans offers for a wide range of services.” The company develops customised cooling solutions with a cooling capacity of 0.2 to 200 kilowatts, covering the entire process chain from the prepress stage to finishing.

technotrans will be presenting the advanced generation of the omega.eco process chiller at its stand. It is equipped with a speed controller for the compressor, cooling air fan and cooling water pump. This allows the chiller to adapt to the respective operating load and different ambient conditions. Depending on the cooling power requirement, the compressor and the fans for example are automatically controlled. This increases the system’s efficiency. thereby ensuring a high power saving potential. In addition, omega.eco has been developed in accordance with the ecodesign directive and thus meets the highest ecological requirements.

Compact cooling for finishing packaging
For the finishing sector, technotrans is presenting a compact system for cooling laser sources cutting packaging such as cardboard. It is particularly space-saving and available as a single or multi-circuit system. “Above all, our devices are characterized by their high power density and compact dimensions, which laser manufacturers require,” Böcker emphasizes. Other important spotlights of the trade fair are the transport of viscous media by dispersing units or pumps as well as ink batch management using precise volume measurement and tracking.

The Sassenberg specialist in the area of liquid technology is hoping to see new impulses from the industry at the trade fair, Böcker says. “To us, Labelexpo is an important platform to communicate and initiate projects with machine manufacturers, operators, and other stakeholders.
