- The company wins the "Attraktiver Arbeitgeber im Kreis Warendorf 2022" competition (attractive employer in the Warendorf region 2022) in the special "talent management" category
- The internal talent management system "com.pass" bundles all HR information and tools
- Talent identification and development as an important task for the future
technotrans SE has won the "Attraktiver Arbeitgeber im Kreis Warendorf 2022" competition (attractive employer in the Warendorf region 2022) in the special "talent management" category. The jury of the awarding body, Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftsförderung im Kreis Warendorf GmbH (gfw), has recognised the outstanding transparent, personalised and dialogue-oriented talent management process of the Sassenberg-based technology and service provider. Timo Sterzl, Head of HR Germany, and Karin Schwarzenberger, Human Resources Development and Employer Branding Officer at technotrans SE, accepted the award from the hands of Dr Olaf Gericke, Head of the District Authority, and Petra Michalczak-Hülsmann, Managing Director of gfw, at the Sparkassenforum in Warendorf last week. A total of 60 companies participated in the competition and 13 companies won an award.
"The award in the talent management category shows us that we are right on track in terms of our strategic talent identification and development measures. For us, it means an important token of appreciation," says Timo Sterzl in view of the assessment of the jury.
Full transparency concerning potentials and opportunities
The "com.pass" talent management system, which is an in-house development of technotrans, provides the employees of the company with access to all the information about their employment. This includes information about their salary and qualifications as well as access to the assessments and agreements concluded during past appraisal interviews. In addition, the digital training catalogue "Campus" with its portfolio of internal and external training courses can also be accessed via the system.
Talent identification and development
Local and overarching development needs are identified and prioritised annually in so-called leadership circles. In this context, "com.pass" is intended to support the management and HR department as an important planning tool with numerous additional features: This year will see the introduction of a performance/potential matrix and an organisational chart for structured succession planning. The jury was particularly impressed by the strategic identification and targeted development of talents with the aid of the company's very own "com.pass" system. "A few months ago, we successfully implemented the first process steps. The details are currently being analysed and will be presented within the company in a few weeks," announces Karin Schwarzenberger.
Advancement of management and specialist careers
Another important aspect of the personnel management system of technotrans is the attractive and performance-based remuneration system. It is based on a transparent global grading system and provides the employees with fair advancement opportunities despite rather flat hierarchies. "technotrans offers diverse, attractive career opportunities, even across departmental boundaries. We promote both leadership and specialist careers at our company because, in order to remain successful in the long term, we need both strong leaders and competent technical experts," explains Karin Schwarzenberger.
